Polar Express- Shadycrest Style

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Luke's school? It is such a wonderful place- they make it so easy for parents to be involved, which, to me is one of the most important things about kids in school. Anyway...tonight they hosted a Literacy Night and themed it "Polar Express". The kids went around to different stations and it all shadowed the movie. While the kids were in one of the stations, they had the parents in another room giving them helpful learning tips for kids. A+ Shadycrest!

The other cool thing about tonight was that siblings were welcome! Here are the boys getting their tickets punched in their PJ's.

In the first segment they watched a clip from the movie while they sat in this train.

Hi Mrs. Soders! Did you know the teacher actually sleep at the school? They were all walking around in their PJ's too!

Next, they moved into another station to see Santa and get their picture taken with him.

Last, they went to the cafeteria to enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate! This sweet little face can't wait until he gets to be a Shadycrest Owl too!
