A Day at the Pool

Today we got back on our normal Thursday swim day since the rain decided to finally stop. It was good to get back in the water with our friends!

Owen's Room

Owen's room is finally ready!

His walls are painted green. His furniture is espresso. His bedding is argyle and we accessorized in vintage toys. Here's how it turned out.

Newest Addition!

This weekend we (Caleb, me, & Luke) went to Oklahoma for the birth of our first nephew/cousin Cash Ryan. Brady stayed home with Grammy & Papa because this was going to have to be a quick trip. I am not supposed to be traveling a lot since Owen is due to come within a few weeks.

Me & my sister in law Erin the night before Cash was born.

Luke & EE waiting on Cash's arrival.

While Erin was in labor we waited in the hallway. Luke would get right up against the door to hear what was going on and give us a report. It was really cute. Here are a few things he reported:
- "the hospital lady (nurse) just said ok erin take a break"
- "uncle nonah just said texas"
Not long after that Cash was finally here!

July 4, 2010

July 4th this year was a little different than we had originally planned due to rain, and me just getting out of the hospital with a kidney stone, but it turned out to be really fun!

I printed off these free cupcake toppers from a party website I visit often and Luke & I made some patriotic cupcakes. He did the cutting on the cupcake topper as you can see!

We had a bbq lunch with our neighbors, then went to some friends house that night for a get together to eat and watch the firework show.
Brady had a front row seat!

Above is Brady and his friend Ashton. Both are the same age, so trying to get a picture with both of them looking the same direction is impossible...

The City of Pearland always puts on a beautiful firework show!

Fun times with good friends!
Happy Birthday America!
