So...birthdays mean more now than ever to Luke. It seems like he starts thinking about his birthday right after Christmas is over. He talks about it almost every single day! I remember getting that excited about my birthday when I was his age too, so I try to make it as fun as possible for him.
We have a birthday countdown- so he can have a visual reminder! Also so he isn't constantly asking me "how many more days until my birthday?"
On the last day he brought his lunch before his birthday I wrapped all of his lunch items individually. Fun times! He loved it! I happened to be at the school that day and peeked in on him when he opened his lunch box. He was so surprised.
Instead of a big party this year- we let Luke pick a few friends from class to invite and we would take them anywhere he chose. He wanted to go to Chucke Cheese, so that's what we did! He had Fisher, Noah, Devan, Alex, & Brady.
On his actual birthday- April 13th- the PTA hosted our annual school carnival. It was a lot of fun and we stayed the whole time. A huge party just for my Luke ;)

Above is a group picture of the PTA moms :)
My friend Angie & I worked on the carnival baskets for the silent auction. It was a super busy few weeks leading up to the carnival and a very busy day, but all totally worth it!
Since the move I have been so far behind on my blog. So, trying to play catch up is a bit of a challenge. I wanted to include the pictures I have been taking of him because he is growing so fast!
Here are just a few of my favorites...
First of all... we got the basketball goal up in the new driveway- finally feels like home!
In the above photo the boys ages are as follows
Luke: 6 Brady: 4 Owen: 2 Grffin: 3 months
Even though it seems like he doesn't like his brothers from the above picture he does! He loves them so much and laughs at everything they do.
PawPaw & Grandma Kay took us out to lunch one day in April so they could meet Griffin. We had such a nice time chatting! What a sweet picture!
He did it! He did it!!!
So, we moved to our new house in late February and there are tons more kids in our new neighborhood, all of whom can ride their bike without training wheels. Especially this one little girl named Emily. She has become a great friend of Luke's over the past two years. Well, we went to her house for a bike play date and he had his training wheels on and she had hers off. If you've ever met my sweet little competitive child you would know that's not gonna fly. First- someone better at something than him and Second, that someone being a girl! He hopped on her bike and took off. After months of trying to teach him, that's all it took...
Now that we are getting all settled in, Caleb & Brady were able to do their favorite thing together- smoke some burgers!!! This time, Brady had his very own smoker. Caleb is trying to teach him the ins and outs and Brady seems to really enjoy it. The burgers turned out super delicious!
After almost 5 years at 1907 Prairie Creek we decided it was time to move. We LOVED our home so much, but were looking for a neighborhood with more children as well as a few other things we wanted in the house. We left the BEST neighbors- they were like family to us, so it was really hard to leave.
Our old house.
Here's our new house. We are still in the process of fixing up the inside to feel more like our home, so I will post pictures as we get things done. So far we love it here and have met some really great neighbors. There are tons of kids in the neighborhood which makes for lots and lots of play dates!
We moved here two weeks after Griffin was born. It was a pretty hectic time for all of us, but we are finally settling in and getting back to normal.

Caleb & Me
We have been married for 8 years. God has blessed me so much with him. He is the best husband and father I could ever ask for.

Me & Owen
Owen is my sweet new baby boy! He is so laid back and easy going. Being the baby of two big brothers can be a little rough at times, but he handles it well and doesn't fuss much about their sweet "love pats". I can't wait to see how his little personality developes.
Me & Luke
Luke is 100% ALL BOY! He loves sports. "Hutball", basketball, & baseball are his favorites. He is very rough! He likes to run- race- ride his scooter- play on his fort- etc. He also has a very sweet side too that I just love!
Me & Brady
Brady is always good for a smile. Don't let that sweet smile fool you though, if he doesn't get his way he will quickly let you know. He's definately a momma's boy too, I like to call him my little shadow.
