School Spirit Day- In His Steps Preschool

Today was Spirit Day at Brady & Owen's preschool. On Spirit Day, the kids all wear their school shirt and get to have Chick-Fil-A for lunch which is always a treat ;)
This was Owen's very first spirit day. I got a cute picture of the two of them right before school this morning. It was a great day and both of them had lots of fun!

Student of the Week

Yep, you're looking at last week's student of the week! Luke was featured in his class and got to bring some pictures to tell a little more about himself which were posted on the classroom door.

Here are the pictures he chose to include:

He also had THREE lunch visitors last week! Uncle Saw came Monday, Wednesday Grammy came, & Friday Daddy & Brady came.

What a fun filled week for our favorite Student Of the Week ;)

A Weekend Away!

Caleb and I had the opportunity to get away last weekend and head to Dallas for the OU/TX game with Erin & Noah. It was fun being together without the kiddoes, these days anytime we see them we always have kids with us :)




The night before the game we had a lovely dinner out and had a great Italian meal.

Saturday was the game. This is the group we were with. The two other couples are some friends of Erin & Noah's which we had a chance to get to know. Both were really sweet couples.

Then, the four of us at halftime. Boomer Sooner! The Sooners won the game!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Brady had a Teddy Bear Picnic at school today. This is an annual event in which each child gets to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school for an outdoor picnic lunch. Brady had been looking forward to this all week. Of course...he chose Buzz Lightyear to be his guest!

On another note...Brady and I have been working on spelling his name and cutting for the past few weeks. He has mastered the spelling of his name and is getting to be an awesome cutter. I am one proud mom!

More Cousin Time

We got to spend the evening with Cash! Since we had all four cousins under one roof we created the above masterpiece ;) Each boy did their handprint and Luke wrote everyone's name under their hand.


Cash loves playing football just as much as his cousins. He pretty much has a ball in his hand everywhere he goes.

Owen likes having Cash around too! Its fun having someone your own size to play with!

The babies are starting to interact with each other which is so fun to watch.

Having Cash come tonight was so much fun. It makes us miss him and wish he was closer so we could see him all the time. The neat thing about him being here was that he just fit right in. He knew that we were his family which was really cool to see.

Lovely Choices

Here are the pumpkins the boys chose at the pumpkin patch yesterday. Funny thing...Luke waits until everyone else picks theirs so he can be sure his is signifigantly larger than Brady and Owens. Brady and Owen could care less though- they make their decisions based on their own likes/dislikes.

Pumpkin Patch

Today was a great day for the pumpkin patch!

Luke's school had early release and our cousin Cash is in town so Aunt KayKay and I loaded up the boys and headed out.

Cousins!

Cash loved the pumkin patch! He thought every pumpkin was a ball.

Contrary to the looks of the above picture, Owen really liked the pumpkin patch too. This was the only picture I could get of the two of them together though so it will have to do.

Notice the cast on Owen's right arm? He fell Monday night and broke his wrist :/ This is his soft cast he will have until Monday, then he gets a hard cast. So far he has done ok and doesn't seem to be in to much pain.

After the pumpkin patch we went to Sonic for Happy Hour! Those are some thirsty Allen boys!
