The GREAT Pearland Egg Drop!

Luke and Brady with the Easter bunny. Yes, Luke's face doesn't show that he's having very much fun, but at least he got near the bunny this year.

Our family

The Egg Drop!!! If you look close enough you can see the eggs falling from the helicopter. This was the coolest part to me!

Luke & his cousin Kennedy.

Brady checking out that football field after the event. He didn't want to leave...

Both boys, I didn't get them looking at the camera, but at least they are smiling. I figure I can get one or the other.

Luke getting his spiderman facepaint! Which all washed away from his tears on the way home. He didnt want to leave the egg drop, but we stayed until almost everything was put away.
Thank you Crosspoint Fellowship! Once again, I am so proud to be a part of such a cool church. There were TONS of people there. TONS of people worked so hard to put this event on and it was super fun. The best part of the whole thing was that we were able to invite people who may not normally come to a church event. Yeah, maybe Luke didn't get any eggs because some folks didn't follow the rules and only take 10, but he was just as satisfied to be on the "hutball" field.
Yeah!!! What an awesome outreach.

Bathtime for Brady

Brady's favorite part of the bath... when the water comes out of the faucet!

Brady loves his bath and I realized that I haven't posted anything about that. Shame shame shame on me!

"Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba"

Today I heard Brady saying "ba ba ba ba ba" for the first time. He likes to say it really loud to. Super cute! He says it only while he is playing, almost like he is talking to his toys.
Now I need to start working on momma, but if he's anything like his bubba he will say dada first. Oh well!

Easter Celebration

Luke with his "hutball" Easter basket. I love it because it collapses so it doesn't take up as much space! I can't wait until he moves past this cheesy smile stage...

Luke and his friend Chloe. He is showing off the beautiful egg he made in school. It's the green one on the end. Isn't it wonderful!

There will be an egg hunt later and some special snacks at lunch. I love Easter! It is my favorite time of year. So much to celebrate!!!

Don't forget- This Saturday at 10:00 am. The Rig (Pearland's football stadium). The Great Pearland Egg Drop! 30,000 eggs dropped from a helicopter for the biggest egg hunt of your life!!!

It's all FREE. Fun for all ages. Don't miss this!

Guess What I Saw This Morning???

Look what my little Brady boy was doing this morning...

Pulling up to get into the toy box! UH OH!!!! My job just got much harder around here!!!
I hope you didn't notice his no pants and only one sock right off the bat. That is about what my kiddos look like in the morning before we get dressed...

Baby Bear

Thanks to the little cold front that came in last night I was finally able to put Brady in his bear suit! The only size they had it in when I bought it was the size he is now and I didn't think I would be able to use it.
I got some pictures of both boys in their Easter outfits, but I will post them later. I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise....

Crawling & First Tooth!

Yesterday, April 2, 2009 Brady started crawling!!!
His main motivation to crawl is that black cord. He loves that cord and will do whatever it takes to get to it.

His first crawl was yesterday, but he is getting better and better at it. It seems like each time he gets ready to crawl he stops to think..."ok- how did I do that last time?" It is so cute to watch.

Finally, the reward... I let him chew on the cord for a minute for all that hard work!

This is after I took the cord away. Poor Baby!

Now on to the tooth.
If you look really really close, you can see the tiny tooth trying to poke through at the right side of his gum. It should be all the way out within the next few days.
The little blister on his top lip is infantigo. YUCK! He went to the doctor today to get medicine for it. Hopefully it will clear up within the next few days. I know it itches because he keeps licking it.
