Fun Time With Family

Last weekend we went to Leander to visit Caleb's side of the family for the weekend. We had so much fun. Every time we are with them we make so many new memories.

The original plan for Saturday night was to go dancing at our families favorite place , Walburg, but decided not to go. Instead we turned up the music and danced right in Mamaw & Papaw's driveway. It was a blast.

Bayou Wildlife Park

Today we went to a birthday party for a school friend of Luke's named Cooper. It was so much fun and we both learned a lot of cool stuff!

The Great Outdoors

Today we traveled a short distance south to Brazos Bend State Park. The main thing they are known for is their alligator habitat, so we were hoping to be able to see some real gators!


Brady enjoyed being out in the wide open! He is our little outdoors man.


Luke liked throwing rocks as far as he could and looking for tigers. Sadly, we did not see any tigers at all...

But, we did see two alligators. You may notice this one on the bank to the right of the picture sun bathing.

The swamp along one of the trails we went on. Perfect place for the gators!

Towards the middle of this picture you see a duck family which was so cool. These ducks were so beautiful they were black and orange.

I like the tree in the picture above. The park was full of huge trees- as you would have guessed.

What a fun day spending some family time learning about where the alligators and other cool animals live. We will definitely be back!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Yesterday was Teddy Bear Picnic at Mother's Day Out. The kids were supposed to bring their favorite teddy bear and got to eat lunch outside with their bear.

What bears would they have picked as their favorite you might ask???

Luke went with this puppy.


Brady went with this Elmo which Luke picked for him to take. He was very excited and happy with that choice!

Sunday, Funday!

Brady before church this morning. He was in such a cute mood, so I thought I should get a quick picture of him- almost 13 months old.
(Luke spent the night at Grammy & Papa's house last night, so that's why he isn't in this picture as well.)


This evening we went to Yaya & Papi's to say bye to Uncle Samuel. He was able to come in town for a weekend. Since all three of them have the same Batman shirt we couldn't resist getting a picture of all of them together.

Today we went to our friend Grey's birthday party. It was a frog party and lots of fun.

Bye Bye Bottle... We will miss you!

Last week when Brady was in the hospital he had to wait to eat at least 6 hours before he had his surgery. It ended up being 17 hours without food by the time he had his surgery. So, needless to say, he was pretty hungry by the time he finally was able to eat. When it was finally time to eat I gave him his milk from that point on in his sippy cup. (up until this point brady refused to drink milk from his sippy cup) Now it has been a week and he is still drinking from his cup!



Even though Brady's experience last week was pretty hard, at least one good thing came out of it! Yay! much easier than I thought!!!
