Mommy & Luke right before the wedding.

I love this picture of the two of them. Luke loves Erin so much- he was so sweet with her.

Luke licking the punch bowl which was an ice bowl with pictures in it. It was so beautiful.
The wedding went really well. We weren't sure how Luke would so as the ring bearer, but he was so good! I didn't get any pics of him walking down the isle, but I hope I can get some from their photographer. I will post those when I get them.
Congrats to Noah & Erin. What a perfect couple they are and I am SO glad to have her as my news sister-in-law. She made a beautiful bride!

Wedding Rehearsal

Friday we traveled to Oklahoma for the wedding of Caleb's brother Noah & Erin. Brady stayed here with my parents, but Luke went because he was the ring bearer. Caleb was the best man & I was a bridesmaid. We had so much fun- here are the pictures from the rehearsal.

This was hanging in the middle of the archway that they got married under. So pretty!

Happy Birthday Caleb!

Today is Caleb's birthday. We had a very relaxing day spent swimming and packing for our trip. We will be going to Oklahoma City for Noah & Erin's wedding this weekend.
Since we already celebrated Caleb's big day with his family last Sunday and will celebrate again with my family next week, we kept things low key.

Luke and I baked Caleb his favorite cookies- Ranger cookies.

Happy Birthday Babe! We love you so much!

Father's Day 2009

We had a nice, relaxing Father's Day this year. Caleb had a very important test for work Monday, so he had to spend a lot of the day Sunday studying. He passed the test though!!!

Sunday evening we went to Yaya & Papi's houses to celebrate Father's Day and Caleb's birthday. We had steaks and went swimming. What a fun time!
Above is Luke, Caleb, Brady, and Papi

Brady really enjoyed the poppy seed cake! It's his birthday, so I thought that would be ok.

Happy 10 Month Brady!

Sunday, June 21st was Brady's 10 month birthday. Along with Father's Day, we had a great day.
Here are just a few pics I took of Brady playing in his room. Last week I cleaned out all of the baby toys from Luke's room and gave them to Brady. He is loving playing in his own room now with his own toys. Don't worry about Luke though- he just had a birthday and to top it all off our neighbor gave him a bunch of his old toys last week. It was a win win situation for us!!!

What's Brady up to these days???

- taking lots and lots of steps... not a full time walker, but we are getting there
- now calls Caleb "dada"
- can get down the stairs going backwards
- can wave "bye bye" and say it
- has 6 teeth
- likes to stand up in the bath (so baths are very short these days)
- hates getting his diaper changed
- sleeping ok at night usually wakes up between 5-7am
- loves loves loves his bubba!
- also quite a momma's boy

So much to say, but can't say it...

I have lots of things to be posted, but my computer will not connect to the internet for some crazy reason, so for now I have to remain speechless... All of my pics from Fathers Day and Brady's 10 month birthday are on my computer, so until I get that working again, I am stuck. I promise to catch up as soon as I can.

Brady's First Steps

Brady has been taking steps here and there for about two weeks now, but tonight after more practice he walked more than ever.

Sorry about the terrible glare on my camera, I was so busy trying to capture the moment that I didn't even worry about my lighting.
Our little Brady is growing up to fast!

Swimming

Each Wednesday this summer is "swim day". Today we had a smaller crowd than normal, but it was a lot of fun. The boys had a blast playing and were super tired when we got home.

Luke is convinced that these goggles help him swim like Michael Phelps...seriously!

Brady loves swimming too, but hates getting splashed.

Here are the big boys eating a "hopsickle" as Luke calls them.

Week Two- Scripture Memory

Luke did so good last week on his verse. He can say it perfectly word for word, so now it is time for week two...

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right."
Ephesians 6:1

Short Road Trip

Today we took a little road trip to see our friend's The Maxwell's new house in a little town north of here called Porter. The boys and I loaded up this morning and took the almost one hour drive to see them.
While we were there we went to a little park by their house. Brady sat in his stroller and watched the kids play.

This is Lily. Isn't she a doll?

Luke & Lily are 3 1/2 weeks apart and have known each other from birth. Actually Luke was there when Lily was born!

This is Brady tonight after his last bottle. Notice the milk is still on his little chinny chin chin. He was exausted tonight. Maybe that means he will sleep past 5:30 am???

Nothing to exciting today, just wanted to post some pics...

Little toothless grin!

B-ball loves to push laundry baskets around the house to get from place to place.

Summer Memory Verses

This summer I plan to teach Luke one new Bible verse each week. We started our first verse on Sunday:

"For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." Romans 8:28

I am very proud to announce that he is able to say this one already and it's only Tuesday! Go Luke! It was so cute to hear him quote this to Aunt Kaitlen today. I felt so proud of him.

Night Out on the Town...

After a very long week with surgery, a new baby born to our friends (welcome Kyle), and a very difficult test Caleb had to take- we needed a night away!
Saturday night we went to eat at a super awesome steakhouse here in Pearland called Killens. Caleb's boss gave us a gift certificate there since he passed his test. After Killens amazing food, we went out dancing at Eddy's for a friends birthday. The picture above is of Kristen, Christy, and me fresh off the dance floor from the cotton eyed joe. We had a blast.
Caleb was a trooper the whole time. I know he was in pain, but he went anyway and tried to have fun. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of Caleb and I :(
